Enrolling Now for Our Summer Programs

Are you looking for a summer filled with fun and dance? Our Ballet Dance Camp is ideal for young dancers while our Summer Intensive offers training for more experienced students. BDC offers dance classes of the highest quality to the youngest student and to the pre-professional.

The Berrend Dance Center 2014 Summer Intensive will be July 7 through August 1 for Levels II and up. A placement audition class is required for dancers new to BDC. Please call to set up your audition class. Our "Coppelia" and "Cinderella" summer dance camps will be in August.

Congratulations to BDC Dancers at YAGP

At the Providence, Rhode Island YAGP Semi-Finals in February, BDC students Brenda Welch, Catherine Moyer, Amelia Dencker, Alexandra Mao, Katherine Pawlowski, Isabella Chang, Allison Cannon, and Kate Barnett scored Top 12 in Ensembles with their performance of "Reflections," which was choreographed by BDC faculty member Aaron Jackson. Allison Cannon and Amelia Dencker also performed solos. Allison scored Top 24 in the 15+ age group for her Classical Variation and Amelia scored Top 12 for her Classical Variation and Top 12 in Contemporary, both in the 12-14 age group. The dancers will be competing in the YAGP Finals in New York in April.
