SPRING 2011 YEAR-END PERFORMANCE: The Dance Centre students will present a Spring Concert at the end of the year. This year, we will be using the theater at the Sandy Spring Friends School. All students, except adults, Music & Motion and Prep. for Ballet classes will be included, unless it is made known to the Director by January 15 that you do not wish to participate. All participants are required to pay a Performance Fee, which covers the student's share of the theater rental, costume cost, and two tickets for the family. (Extra tickets will be available.) The Music and Motion and Prep for Ballet classes will have a small performance at the Dance Centre rather than in the large theater performance.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
For our daytime classes, the Dance Centre follows the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) snow day cancellation decisions. After school, evening and Saturday classes follow the snow cancellation decisions for MCPS after-school activities and Adult Education Classes. When a decision to close has been made, it will be put on the Dance Centre telephone answering machine. We cannot re-schedule classes, but students are invited to make up canceled classes in another suitable class within the semester.
