ADULT DIVISION

BERREND Dance Centre is proud to offer adult dance programs taught with individualized instruction and attention in a welcoming and non-competitive environment in its state-of-the art facility (free parking).   

Classes are specially designed for adults from the beginner to a returning dancer to the continuing dancer. Our adult class faculty have years of experience and will make adaptations to the class work for students either more advanced or behind the level. 

ADULT BALLET DIVISION

Virtual Drop-in $15/class or 10 - class card for $140

or $150 unlimited classes for a month

Instructors will always evaluate the class, and give the combinations appropriately in its difficulty level and intensity

Adult Beginner/Intermediate Ballet (Virtual Only)

This class is for beginners who are entirely new to classical ballet or students returning after many years away from the art form and wishing to ease back into ballet. This class introduces basic terminology and foundational ballet technique with a focus on proper alignment.

Monday  6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Instructor

Adult Intermediate/Advanced Ballet (Hybrid-virtual and in-person)

This class is for the more experienced student who would like the explore a slightly faster paced class while being carefully guided. The class will move at a faster pace than other levels with an expectation that students will understand and execute more advanced and complex movement sequences.

Friday 6:30 p.m - 8:00 p.m.

ADULT TAP DIVISION

$18/class with monthly commitment  

Adult Tap

 

This class is for the student who wishes to improve rhythm and musicality while learning and developing basic tap technique. Prior tap experience is suggested, however our instructors are accustomed to working with a broad range of dancers, even within a single class. (Please contact the studio if interested and we will get you in touch with the instructor.)
